Shade Lapido, who is a media personality has come out to criticize three Nigerian ‘top dogs’ who had failed to acknowledge their wins at the just concluded Headies awards. The award ceremony had held in the US last week.
In a post Ladipo had shared on her Instastories, she remarked that if the artists had won the BET or Grammy, they would be running helter-skelter to attend. She however did not mention the names of the artists she was referring to.
In her Instagram story, she had typed:
“I think it’s very disrespectful that your Big 3artistes didn’t even acknowledge their wins at The Headies this year. The work of people like Animashaun has built his industry which your faves are reaping and enjoying from today. If it was Grammy or BET, they will be running kitikata to attend. Put some respect on the names of the people who paved and are paving way for you.”
