Bayo Onanuga, an ex-spokesman to President Bola Tinubu, has made a declaration, announcing that the Nigerian Government is “penniless.”
Onanuga had made the declaration while emphasising that the subsidy on petrol was no longer advisable.
Therefore, Onanuga enjoined Nigerian workers to assist Tinubu as he develops incentives to soften the effect of the fuel subsidy removal.
Onanuga’s tweet read:
“The Nigerian people and workers should support the federal government as it maps out new wages and launches other interventions, as promised by President Tinubu, to curb the effects of new petrol price.”
