American singer, Taylor Swift, declared her dismay and grief after a stabbing incident happened in themed dance and yoga class based on one of her songs in United Kingdom. The event happened in Southport, which is a coastal town in the northwest region of the United Kingdom, and the event left the community heartbroken.

Merseyside Police revealed a 9-year-old girl was pronounced dead in a hospital after the incident, a day later. The attack, which occurred on Monday, killed two other girls, aged 6 and 7, respectively. Five other children and two adults were critically injured from the brutality of the attack. The police have detained a 17-year-old boy on charges of murder and attempted murder, and the knife used in the crime was retrieved.

Taylor Swift, who believes in having a bond with her fans, posted her feelings about the tragedy on Instagram. She said that the horror of the attack overwhelmed her and she recount that she was taken aback. Swift ensured that her message of sorrow and condolence was resoundingly clear, and that the tragedy has not only affected the victims and families but also her personally.

Even as investigations go on, the community and the whole world is waken up to the realities of innocent lives being snuffed out for no reason. The heartfelt sentiment that Taylor Swift conveys points to the tremendous loss and the desire for recovery in the wake of such a tragedy.
