Lisandro Martinez, Manchester United’s newly signed player, has revealed that he joined Manchester United because of Ten Hag’s wonderful coaching style, which influenced him to join the club.
If we can recall, Martinez was unveiled as Manchester’s United new signed player, Martinez and Ten Hag were both in Ajax together, in 2019-22. They were able to win the Eredivisie title, and also the KNVB cup, whilst Martinez won the Ajax player of the year award.
According to Martinez, Ten Hag played a very huge role in his career, he said being with him in Ajax helped him improve a lot. He actually believes that Ten Hag has a lot to offer Manchester United.
“I was with him for three years at Ajax and I know his style of playing.
“With him, I improved a lot, to be honest. He’s here in Manchester now, so again the opportunity was there and for sure he’s very important in my career,” Martinez told United club media.”
Martinez is no small player, he is widely known for his aggressive style of playing, and his composure whenever he handles the ball on the field. He is even Nick named the’ Butcher.’
