Over a dozen Danish tourist passengers in Thailand were injured after a bus they were on lost control and veered into the northern Mae Hong Son, a remote mountainous province, according to reports by the authorities on Friday.
The driver of the tour bus, a 50 year-old man, had unfortunately died in hospital after the bus crash that occurred late on Thursday.
Currently, thirteen tourists from Denmark are being treated in a hospital for injuries sustained during the crash, according to district chief Anek Pantayom. Four of the passengers were said to have serious injuries including broken bones.
The tourists were on their way to a full-moon party, a broadcaster, ThaiPBS reported.
