Nigerian YouTuber, Emdee Tiamiyu who is being castigated in the Nigerian social media sphere after he granted an interview to the British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC has been exposed by a Twitter user @Dr Penkings who is presently claiming that Tiamiyu had arrived in the UK only 9 months ago, as a dependent.
@Dr Penkings tweet had read:
“Pictured here is Emdee Tiamiyu on his way to the UK in September 2022. He arrived in the UK with the exact dependent route he casted on September 2022. And now, less than 9 months after he arrived, he has closed the border against his kinsmen and folks with his mouth.”
The bill to stop Nigerian students studying in the UK from bringing in relatives as their dependents is yet to be approved by the UK parliament, as some members of the parliament are not in support of the bill.
