Festus Keyamo, the APC spokesman has shamed Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, as a leopard that cannot change its skin.
This is coming after Atiku had promised PDP members appointments and contracts in his administration if he won the upcoming presidential polls in their respective units.
The former vice-president who is currently struggling to extricate himself from the new revelations of how he allegedly used special purpose vehicles,- SPVs to siphon Nigeria’s resources had made the vow to his party’s supporters during a town hall meeting with stakeholders in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Wednesday, January 18.
In Atiku’s words, “You are all members of the PDP and supporters of the PDP. You want the PDP to return to power, please I beg of you, make sure you win your polling booths.”
In reaction to Atiku’s statement, Keyamo tweeted:
“#Atikugate. A leopard cannot change its skin. He is already promising contracts to political allies, forgetting that there is a law called the Public Procurement Act. Mr. SPV!”
