Ex-President Donald Trump has gathered over $4 million in digital currencies like bitcoin, ether, and USDC for his presidential campaign. A report from the Federal Election Commission shows that people have given a variety of digital coins to the Trump 47 Committee, with at least 19 supporters giving more than $2.15 million in bitcoin.
The Winklevoss twins, who are very rich from digital money, were big supporters, each giving 15.57 bitcoin, which was worth over $1 million when they donated.
Other important supporters include Mike Belshe, the head of BitGo, and Jesse Powell, the creator of Kraken. Trump, who says he likes digital money, will give a big speech at The Bitcoin Conference in Nashville on Saturday.
