Tunde Ednut Becomes U.S. Citizen, Honoured With Lifetime Achievement Award

Nigerian-born blogger and entertainer Tunde Ednut has announced that he is now a citizen of the United States. He shared the news via Instagram, where he posted a photo of his American passport to mark the occasion.

Alongside the citizenship update, Tunde revealed that he had been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award from former U.S. President Joe Biden.

In a celebratory video shared on his page, Tunde referred to himself as royalty while expressing excitement over his latest accomplishments.
“THE NEW AMERICAN CITIZEN, King Tunde Ednut. Congratulations to me,” he wrote.

Known for his influence on social media and support for up-and-coming artists, he gave credit to those involved in creating the video:

My President: @realdonaldtrump,” he added.

Following the initial announcement, he further expressed gratitude for both the award and the citizenship, writing:
“Congratulations to me!!! I am not just a Citizen, Oo! I also received recognition from the President of America. I am highly honored and blessed.”

Tunde Ednut, who started out in music before transitioning fully into blogging, has since built a large online community and remains a key figure in Nigeria’s digital entertainment space.
