Elon Musk might not be inconsiderate as everyone tags him, as he revealed that he has heard the plea that $1,000 is too expensive for small businesses interested in the Verification badge, and has promised to unveil the prices for small businesses interested in the badge. However, large organizations are expected to pay, $1000 a month.
He said, “We will have a lower cost tier for small businesses but need to manage the onboarding of organizations carefully to prevent fraud. The $1000/month is meant for larger organizations.”
Well the business verification badge, which is gold, has been accessible to business owners who have paid for the badge as of March 31st.
As for individuals who have refused to pay for their verification badge, Twitter removed their badges in April, although Musk is considering reducing the price for small business owners, he isn’t concerned about reducing the price, as regards individual Verification badges.
