After a ridiculously bad mood during the substitution of Vinicius Junior in Madrid’s 2-1 win against Barcelona on Sunday, the Brazilian winger’s future at Real was thrown into a massive question.
The Brazilian attacking midfielder was very displeased when coach Xabi Alonso took him off, seeming to yell, “Always me! I’m suffocating the team! I better go!” – phrases that have been interpreted as hints of a possible departure.
In fact, Vinicius’ frustration would have been very understandable considering the importance of the match, however, his tantrum has instantly directed the attention of the public to Alonso and their relationship.

According to the media, Madrid may decide to part with the youngster if he refuses to renew his contract which expires in 2026.Vinicius has been on Liverpool’s radar though, as well, but insiders close to the Merseyside club call such rumors “too early”.
Real are not taking the situation too seriously and are expecting the duo to talk things over face to face and sort things out.
There will be no punishment as the club believes that the problem will be resolved in a short time. As we speak, Vinicius is still an essential player for Madrid’s challenge for the La Liga title – but his distant looks get darker by the day.
