Well, it seems that the prestigious Giants of African football have lost their title considering their recent shambolic performances.
The Nigeria Football Federation has stated that they are solidly behind Peseiro Super eagles head coach despite their Humiliating defeat to Portugal on Thursday night.
Super Eagles were thrashed 4-0 by Portugal in their international friendly match, this makes it five whole losses, with just two wins under Peseiro’s management.
Aggrieved Nigerians have clamored for the sack of Peseiro as he seems to be taking the team nowhere. The Nigeria Football Federation has responded that they are solidly behind Peseiro.
According to the NFF, they need to be more patient with Peseiro, considering that he won two important games, and these losses are only for friendlies, which they won’t use to access him
“He (Peseiro)has just started and we need to be patient with him,” the official stated.
“He has also won the two important games, that is the qualifiers for the Nations Cup. Friendlies are just friendlies, and we will judge him on the qualifiers.”
