The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar is currently at the forefront of a massive protest against the conduct of INEC during the 2023 general elections in Abuja.

The protest which had kicked off from the party secretariat: Wadata House located at Maitama in Abuja had been honored by the party supporters to show their dissatisfaction against the election alleged to be rigged in favor of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC. The protesters had marched to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to clamor for the cancellation of the elections.

Also present at the protest is Sokoto State Governor. Aminu Tambuwal, the National PDP Chairman, Iyrochia Ayu, Senator Olujimi, and other dignitaries.

Meanwhile, armed security operatives including the Nigerian police force had been deployed to ensure the maintenance of law and order.
