Terem Moffi, Super eagles striker thinks that Benzema deserves to win this year’s Balon D’or and even though he also wishes that Sadio Mane should win the award.

Benzema was really fantastic for Madrid last season as he scored 27 goals and bagged 12 assists for Madrid in La Liga.

Mane himself was super terrific for Liverpool in the premier league last season, as he scored 16 goals and two assists, which helped Liverpool finish second in the premier league. Many have attributed Liverpool’s poor form to Mane’s departure.

According to Moffi, it’s not up to him to select who deserves the Balon D’or or not, but in his opinion, Benzema Deserves it considering his achievements.

He also admitted that he wishes for Mane to win it too, seeing that he is also a successful player. But to be honest, Benzema Deserves it, seeing his performances for Madrid and the France national team.

“For the Ballon d’Or, it’s not up to me to say whether Benzema deserves it or not. But he won everything, he scored a lot of goals,” Moffi told Ouest France.

“Sadio Mane was also very successful, scoring very important goals. My favorite choice would go for my ‘African brother’, but I think Benzema should win, thanks to his performances with Real Madrid and the France team.”
