Croatia and Morocco, clashed for the third-place position in the 2022 world cup in the Khalifa International stadium after they both crashed out of the semi-finals.
Josko Gvardiol, scored the first goal, 7 minutes into the game, to put Croatia in the lead. Achraf Dari slotted in a beautiful header to equalize for Morocco leveling the score to 1-1. However, Mislav Orisic doubled Croatia’s lead in the 42nd minute.
Morocco tried their best to see that they register another goal, but couldn’t get past Croatia’s defense. The game ended in Croatia’s favor as they finished third place in the 2022 world cup. The final battle for the World Cup trophy is on Sunday, who do think is going home with the trophy, Croatia or Argentina?
