Popular Anambra State-based native doctor, Àkwá Ọkụkọ Tịwarakị, an indigene of Idemili North Local Government Area of the State has been abducted.
The native doctor, was reported to have been kidnapped from his hotel in Oba community last night, on Sunday, July 23.
An anonymous source had revealed that the man, regarded to be among the most powerful witch doctors in Anambra was abducted very easily at his hotel, Triple O Hotel. It was said that two of his personal aides had also been shot dead during the abduction.
Ákwà Ọkụkọ Tiwaraki is reportedly, also the richest witch doctor in Anambra State.
He had built and launched two hotels in 2022, regarded as the biggest in Oba, where well-known Igbo businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu aka Obi Cubana hails from.
The ease with which Ákwà Ọkụkọ had been abducted had left many wondering about his purported strength, as several people had been trooping to his mansion in Oba to purchase anti-bullet charms and paraphernalia for money rituals.
Prior to his kidnapping, the native doctor had boasted severally about his might and strength in ‘Juju’.
Police authorities in Anambra have confirmed his abduction.
Police spokes representative, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga had remarked that the incident occurred around 11:30pm on Sunday night, revealing that CP Aderemi Adeoye has directed policemen to go after his abductors and ensure his release.
