Forced to Fund Their Own Murder: Terrorists Tax Nigerian Christians to Buy Bullets, Cleric Reveals
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Whatsapp

In a shocking revelation that exposes a new depth of evil, a prominent Nigerian cleric has detailed how Christian communities are being forced at gunpoint to fund their own impending massacre, paying a “blood tax” so terrorists can buy the very bullets meant to kill them.

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo delivered the chilling warning from the Glory Dome in Abuja, revealing that extremist groups have implemented a brutal, gendered extortion scheme: N100,000 from every woman and N200,000 from every man in Plateau State communities. The sole purpose, he stated, is to procure weapons for a planned “jihad” aimed at ensuring Christians “will not spend our Christmas this year.”

“Their vow is clear: we will run with rice in our hands because they are ready for Jihad,” Dachomo proclaimed, quoting the direct threat from the militants. This paints a picture of a holiday season shattered by violence, where families celebrating with traditional meals will be forced to flee for their lives.

Facing what he labeled an ongoing “genocide,” Dachomo called for a spiritual defense, urging believers that “your prayer is more than an AK-47… more than rocket launchers.” Yet, this call to divine intervention underscores the terrifying reality on the ground: that besieged communities, stripped of physical protection, are being financially bled by the very enemy sworn to destroy them.

Why It Matters

Terrorists are not just demanding money—they are forcing a whole people to become unwilling investors in their own annihilation. The calculated, gendered “tax” is a deliberate tool of humiliation and control, designed to break the spirit of the community long before the first bullet is fired.

The fact that this is happening openly, with a specific threat to Christmas—a period of peace and celebration—shows the brazen confidence of these extremist groups. They operate with impunity, knowing there will be no consequence from a state that has failed in its most basic duty: to protect its citizens.

Calling for prayer as the “strongest defense” is a testament to the utter vacuum of security. When a community’s last line of defense is a plea to heaven, it is the most damning indictment possible of the earthly powers that have abandoned them. This is a countdown to a bloody massacre, funded by the victims themselves.
