According to the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ), a magnitude 5.0 earthquake occurred in eastern France on Friday. The initial measurement of 5.5 magnitude was later revised downward by GFZ.
The quake’s depth was reported to be 10 km (6.21 miles).
Currently, there is no available information regarding casualties or damage caused by the earthquake.
