Nigerians are still yet to get over the death of Saint Obi, as there were questions as to what caused his death and why he moved to stay with his sister in Jos before he passed away.

In a piece written by award-winning journalist, Zik Zulu Okafor which was shared by Georgina Onuoha, we get to see what went on in the life of Saint Obi, why he stopped acting, and what led to his death.

According to the Article, Saint Obi’s mistake was to marry his rich madam wife, as it was the beginning of all his woes, the wife’s brothers constantly attacked and him and branded him as a gold digger, his wife was indifferent about her brothers’ allegations, things got sour for them, and they had to divorce, not without the wife taking her pound of flesh as she prevented him for seeing his kids.

Obi, fell ill mid-last year, he sold his cars to pay for his medical treatment, however, the sickness got worse and he had to move to Jos to stay with his sister, it was in his sick bed he called some of his friends that to inform them of his condition, and wept bitterly on his inability to see his kids

“About mid-last year, however, Obinna took ill. But he told no one. He simply became scarce. He was in and out of the hospital, we would later learn. He sold two of his three big SUVs to take proper care of his health and to acquire six Camry cars he’d use for Uber. But his vanishing health continued unabated. He seemed to have a premonition of his passing as he wept repeatedly about not seeing his children. He emaciated. Life took a grim picture.”
