The unknown perpetrators have struck again, they appear to have branches in different parts of Nigeria. Yesterday morning, they abducted Kingsley Okoroafor a senior official of the Niger Delta Development Commission.

Kingsley was kidnapped in his village of Umuadara, Umulogho,  in Obowo Local Government.

Patrick Uwalaka, the traditional head of the community, has described the incident as unfortunate and revealed that members of the community are now living in fear and panic due to the kidnapping.

An anonymous person revealed that the victim attended a wake-keeping ceremony  of Innocent Anyawu, the late traditional ruler of the community

The source said: “The NDDC worker was followed after he left the vigil to his community, where he was kidnapped while his car was left behind.”

The Person also revealed that the kidnappers had contacted the victim’s family and demanded 10 million ransom for his freedom.

Michael Abbatam, the police spokesman, has yet to confirm this incident
