About 1,265,227 ad hoc workers, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), will participate in the upcoming general election.
Festus Okoye, National Commissioner of INEC and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, stated that all of the temporary employees were receiving training to help them comprehend the standards for the polling place.
For the commission’s Heads of Information and Public Affairs in the various states of the federation, Okoye spoke at a training session on strategic communications for this year’s elections.
He added that INEC was involving crucial and pertinent parties to help organize a free and fair election.
