JAMB Hikes the 2024 UTME Registration Fee

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, had on Monday, announced that they were increasing the registration fees for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for 2024.

The increment was disclosed by the examination body on its official X handle while broadcasting the registration of the 2024 UTME/Direct Entry.

The post had read:

“This is to announce to all prospective 2024 UTME/DE candidates that the designing of Profiles for registration has officially commenced, while the sale of application documents will start on Monday, January 15, 2024.”

“The registration fee is pegged at N7,700 for UTME registration including a mock examination, and N6,200 for UTME registration without the mock examination. The sale of Application documents for Foreign Candidates: $30.”

JAMB Hikes the 2024 UTME Registration Fee

Before the hike, purchasing the form without a mock exam was pegged at N5,700 while the form inclusive of a mock exam was N6,700.

The JAMB examination is fixed for Thursday, March 28, 2024, as the deadline for the 2024 Direct Entry application.

The board added:

“The date 2024 UTME Mock Examination Date: 7th March 2024. Printing of 2024 UTME Examination Slips: 10th April 2024.”

The 2024 UTME examination date will take place from April 19 to April 29, 2024.
