A couple, in Lagos State, was arrested for allegedly assaulting and battering their two kids.
Neighbors of the couple had to alert the police after they saw the couple subjecting their kids to inhuman treatment leading to several injuries, this incident occurred in the Egbeda/Idinmu area of the state.
The police on getting the information, stormed the residence on Friday 13th, 2023, they confirmed the assault after they saw some bruises on the children’s bodies.
The Lagos State Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest.
