United’s battles are far from being over, despite winning the Carabao Cup, other tough competitions are still in line.

Manchester United are to play, Liverpool in Sunday’s EPL game, their win would push them to also be contenders for the Premier League title, if they are defeated by Liverpool, this would see Liverpool push for the top four in the EPL game.

Erik Ten Hag has said that they are ready to suffer and sacrifice at Anifield for them to defeat Liverpool

According to him, he’s looking forward to the hostile ambiance as it’ll give his players a push for the win, he further confirmed his confidence in his squad by saying that he’s squad is ready for whatever Anifield throws at them, he knows that it won’t be easy but they are ready to sacrifice to cliche the win.

“I’m looking forward to it, the ambiance, the atmosphere,” said Ten Hag, fresh from winning the League Cup last weekend to end the club’s six-year trophy drought.

“It will be great, it will be hostile against us, but we like that.

“I know these players, my squad, my team, will be prepared to go there and fight and to go there with confidence. We know it’s going to be difficult, we know we will have to suffer and we will have to sacrifice to get a good result.”
