Jamie Carragher, former Liverpool Defender has praised Manchester United Centre back role, Lisandro Martinez, for his impressive role in Manchester United since he joined the club.

Speaking on Martinez’s form, Jamie Carragher said that, despite Martinez’s size he’s shown that he’s an incredible player, he further commented that Martinez, has to be a big part of Manchester United’s new form.

He also commented on Martinez the Spirit as he celebrates every single win in the team. He also spoke about his contribution to Argentina’s win.

“To think he’s been brilliant. To be that small and play center-back, you have to be a special player, a good player,” Carragher said of Martinez’s resourcefulness for Manchester United.

He’s been a big part of Manchester United’s spirit. There was a game I saw a few weeks ago and he was actually a sub, and someone scored a late goal, and he was right involved in the celebrations.

“You see him at the World Cup with Argentina, we saw him have that fight –with him and Casemiro coming in, they feel more powerful and strong.

Martinez despite his size has shocked everyone around the world as he has proved, that size has nothing to do with football. Martinez is a core part of United’s new form. Everyone is currently praising Erik Ten Hag for purchasing the player and also for purchasing Casemiro as those two have guarded United’s defense jealously.
