Nollywood veteran Victoria Inyama lambasts her colleague Uche Maduagwu for lying about being gay

The veteran movie star made her feelings known while reacting to a post put up by actor Uche Maduagwu.

The B-rated actor had recently taken to his Instagram page to share a post about his erotic expectations for the upcoming Valentine’s Day.

In this post, he had stated “My Valentine date must be a billionaire man with big cassava being gay is happiness some movie producers refuse to work with me because I came out as gay in Nollywood,”

This appeared to have triggered Victoria Inyama who took a swipe at him, insisting that he was beginning to make a fool of himself.

“You are clearly ridiculing the LGBT community and starting a brouhaha that will consume you. I can authoritatively tell you that this is either your way of getting attention for your movie or you are battling with a mental health issue,” she wrote.

“This post right here is caused by poverty or an oblique allusion. This innuendo of lying about being gay is absolutely wrong and insensitive.”

It would be recalled that the actor, who has featured in a few Nollywood movies recently announced on social media that he is proudly gay.

The inference that Maduagwu might be using the antics for financial gains is one that isn’t very far-fetched due to the attention and monetary gains that seem to come from antics being displayed by a few crossdressers within the Nigerian entertainment space.
