Mrs Tinubu’s spokeswoman, Busola Kukoyi, issued a statement on Saturday expressing condolences to Plateau State Governor Caleb Muftwang, the dead families, and the whole Plateau State population.

The statement reads, “It is truly tragic to learn about the school building collapse in Jos, which lost the lives of our innocent children and their teachers.

What they’re saying

“My heartfelt condolences goes to the Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Muftwang, the bereaved families, and the entire people of Plateau State.”

The First Lady prayed that God would comfort the victims’ families and give them strength to bear the sad loss. It said, “It is terrible to lose these youngsters who have a bright future.Words are insufficient to soothe you, but I pray that God comforts you all and gives you the fortitude to bear this tragic loss.

“May the spirits of these beloved ones rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
