The Abia State Governor-elect, Dr. Alex Otti, has cautioned traders at the markets in Aba to not allow themselves to be extorted by fraudsters who may use his name to make fake assurances of appointing them, market leaders.

In a statement by his Special Adviser for Media, Mr. Ferdinand Ekeoma, the Governor-elect had dissociated himself and his wife from such illegal acts of extortion which were contrary to his administrative principles.

He had also urged those behind the criminal act to stop and turn a new leaf or be ready to face the severe wrath of the law.
