Pastor Remanded For Killing Member’s Son.

A certain pastor named Samuel Alade Emin has been remanded for allegedly being involved in the death of his member’s son, by the Ondo State Chief Magistrate court, in Akure.

Investigations have it that the deceased, Olusupo Abiona was held hostage by the pastor in Alagbado village, Ondo State for seven days before he was finally rescued, he died in the hospital after consuming a poisonous substance administered to him by the pastor. The pastor was immediately arrested and arraigned in court, he was charged to court on a two-count charge, deprivation of Liberty, and murder.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to these charges, but his plea was rejected. The defendant’s counsel requested bail, but this request was denied by the judge, as he was remanded in the correctional center, the case was adjourned to February 9.
