Portable Wins Big, Declines Rematch—Is The Feud Over Now?
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Whatsapp

Portable didn’t just win a celebrity boxing match — he secured a N20 million reward from Burna Boy and walked away with zero interest in a rematch.

The chaotic fight, which ended with Portable knocking out Speed Darlington in the first round, took place on Friday night, April 18. While fans were still trying to process what happened, Burna Boy came through with a surprise — a hefty cash gift to Portable for the win.

The Zazu star, never shy about showing off, flaunted the conversation that led to the cash gift online like a trophy. It wasn’t just a victory in the ring — it was a financial knockout.

Just when it seemed like round two was brewing, music executive Soso Soberekon entered the picture and offered to sponsor a rematch — another N20 million on the table.

But Portable shut it down without blinking. He’s not interested in going another round with Speed Darlington. Maybe he’s seen enough. Or maybe he knows when to walk away at the top.

Some say Portable is playing smart. Others say he’s dodging a possible revenge punch. Where do you stand?

Speed Darlington Blames “Juju” — Claims Portable Didn’t Fight Clean

After his embarrassing first-round loss, Speed Darlington didn’t stay silent for long.

He came forward with an outrageous claim — alleging that Portable used spiritual powers during the fight.

“Portable used juju to dislocate my arm,” he said. “My right hand is not functioning properly anymore. That guy didn’t fight like a man.”

Speed Darlington Fires Back At Critics: “Did We Sign Any Agreement?”

If you thought Speed Darlington was done, think again. On Monday, he returned to Instagram to blast those mocking him online.

Clearly triggered by fans claiming they were “disappointed” in his performance, Darlington didn’t hold back.

His message?

“God punish you. I disappoint you, me and you sign contract? The people wey dey say I fall their hand, God punish you. Me and you sign contract? Did we sign any agreement?”

Is He Right To Blast His Critics — Or Just Being Bitter?

While some fans say he’s simply defending himself, others think he’s spiralling after losing so fast.
