President Muhammadu Buhari has recently approved the appointments of rectors and a few principal officers for three Nigerian federal polytechnics.
According to a statement made public on Wednesday, February 8, by the Federal Ministry of Education, the rectors and their respective institutions were: Dr. Paul-Darlington Ndubuisi for the Federal Polytechnic Isuochi, Abia State; Professor Mohammed Magaji for the Federal Polytechnic, Kabo, Kano State; and Dr. Duke Okoro for the Federal Polytechnic, Orogun, Delta State.
Additionally, the President had approved the appointments of Umar Dumbulum as registrar for Federal Polytechnic, Kabo, Kano State, Christine Aluyi as registrar for Federal Polytechnic, Orogun, Delta State; and Ezenuruihe Olachi as registrar for Federal Polytechnic, Isuochi, Abia State respectively.
The three appointments will have a single term of five years each, to begin with, with effect from January 17, 2023.
Other appointments made by President Buhari were: the appointments of Atabatele Solomon and Nkpado Pamela as Kabo Polytechnic and Federal Polytechnic Orogun bursars respectively and the appointments of Librarians for Fed Poly Orogun and Kabo Polytechnic.
