The Abia State Police Command has established that its officers were working in partnership with other security agents to liberate a Chinese National, Mr Li Peiyin who went missing from a Quarry site at Lokpanta, Umunneochi LGA.
Chinaka Chioma Maureen, the new PPRO had confirmed the news update via a phone call with a correspondent of the DAILY POST.
According to the PPRO, the Command were at present, doing everything possible to liberate the Chinese who had been a site Manager at a Quarry site at Lokpanta, as at the time he got missing.
Chinaka had also disclosed that the combined security team, including the police and other security operatives had amplified the search for the missing Manager to as far as Ebonyi and Enugu States, with the inclusion of drones so as to achieve the desired results.
Meanwhile, earlier reports have revealed that the expatriate did not go with his security details on the day he was announced missing, and it is yet to be ascertained if the Chinese citizen was abducted as of the time of filing this report.
