Nigerian televangelist and Streams of Joy International founder, Pastor Jerry Eze, has revealed why he often cries during prayer sessions.
The clergyman explained that he is naturally compassionate, and after entering the ministry, he realised that compassion is essential for miracles.
He shared that he constantly receives messages from people about their struggles and challenges, and he can’t help but empathise with them.
He shared this during an interview marking NSPPD’s fifth anniversary, which was posted on YouTube on Friday.
He said, “The Bible says we do not have a high priest who can not be touched with the feelings of our authorities and the Bible says he was made like one of them that he might become a faithful and merciful high priest.
“Well, I’ve always known myself to be a very compassionate person and then coming into ministry and I realized that compassion is an inevitable tool for the miraculous every day I am greeted with all kinds of messages you are seeing in all kinds of situations.
“Let me give you an example so how do you make this kind of prayer how you see a woman who has who lost her husband try to remarry loses the second one and after everything try to get married a third time lose the third.”
