Service Chief Appointments: Simon Ekpa Airs His Opinion
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Whatsapp

Well-known Biafran agitator and Separatist, Simon Ekpa, has given his opinion to President Tinubu’s newly appointed Service Chiefs.

Ekpa had opined via his official Twitter page saying that the appointment would in no way curb the fight for a Biafran referendum.

Additionally, Ekpa had stated that the new appointment may rid Tinubu of the idea that he was a biased politician and was only after the interests of his tribesmen and his supporters, as he had employed Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, a Chief of Naval Staff from Enugu State.

The Finland-based lawyer and Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile had however, reiterated that the appointment would not end the pervasive diversity and challenges of the Nigerian government, which were the reasons intensifying the Biafra libration agitation.

Ekpa’s comment is clearly aimed at intensifying the Biafran agitation as one can perceive that he is using the same old tribalism card to incite his followers towards the Biafran campaign.

Take for example his tweet that partly read:

“Biafra Liberation is in top gear and our goal is to make sure nothing works in Nigeria until Biafra Exit.”

Is the statement “make sure nothing works in Nigeria until Biafra Exit” harmless or is this a thinly veiled threat?
