Skales, a Nigerian singer, has talked candidly about his relationships with some of the musicians he helped launch their careers.
He bemoaned the fact that many of the people he had previously assisted had now turned against him.
God has remained faithful to him in spite of their betrayals, the singer said.
He said that the best instruction his late mother ever offered him was to always pray and have faith in God as a result.
Taking to his X page on Tuesday, Skales wrote:
“One day I’ll sit down and tell you a story of how a lot of people turned their backs on me, including people I helped build up in this industry. But guess what? God never failed me even when I was isolated… Don’t you ever stop praying and trusting God with everything you’ve got… Best advice my mom gave me!!!”
