Liverpool manager, Arne Slot, is set to have a meeting with star forward Mohamed Salah, as rumors have it that he might leave Liverpool this Winter transfer window. The controversy started when Salah spoke to the press after the match ended 3-3 against Leeds United, where he accused the club of throwing him “under the bus”. After his departure from the bench, he was not even on the squad that faced Inter Milan on Tuesday night, which happened immediately after his statement.
Slot has left Salah on the bench for three consecutive Premier League matches as he tries to revive Liverpool’s dwindling form, although their recent 1-0 victory over Inter can be seen as a ray of hope. According to The Mirror, a report says that the clubs from the Saudi Pro League and Major League Soccer are courting the player. On the one hand, Saudi football teams Al Hilal, Al Qadisah, and Neom are the places where things might go, and on the other, MLS clubs San Diego and Chicago Fire are also showing interest.

It has already been five days since the interview in which Salah made his explosive statements, and still, no player or club has given any further explanation. When asked if Salah’s last match for Liverpool had already been played, Slot said that he was “completely clueless.”
Slot also suggested that Salah might need to take the blame for the situation by saying: “Everybody makes mistakes… is it up to him or me to take the first step?” The fans now will follow the result of their conversations.
