Actress Doyin Kukoyi has dismissed claims of a romantic involvement with veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, explaining that the rumors originated from a film they both starred in.
In an interview on Nollywood on Radio, Kukoyi said the speculation began after she shared a photo from a movie set where she and Ogogo played a married couple whose daughter was getting married.
“I was at a movie location with Ogogo, we both played the roles of husband and wife. We took a picture, and I shared it on social media. Some people then assumed we were married. Till today, many still believe I’m Ogogo’s wife,” she revealed.
Kukoyi, who has been part of the Nollywood industry for over three decades, also reflected on her journey, noting that she initially gained media experience at Daar Communications before fully pursuing her acting career.
