Anthony Chinasa-Abiola, the Umuahia Central State Constituency in the Abia state House of Assembly, has come to debunk the rumours circulating that he’s a Yoruba guy because he’s also bearing ‘Abiola’.
These rumours have been spread by his opponents, saying they he is not qualified to run for the position since he has Yoruba roots.
Chinasa-Abiola has debunked such rumours, speaking with TVC today, he revealed that he is not a Yoruba man, as the name is is only a nickname, but since his opponents wants to use that to degrade him, he enjoyed the viral video.
Chinasa said, “I’m not a Yoruba man and I don’t have any mixed breed at all. I’m a typical Igbo man. But my opponent thinks they want to strike me with a Yoruba name and when it went viral, I began to enjoy it.”
He added, “The Yoruba in my name is a guy’s name”
