Tom Holland’s dad, Dominic Holland, has confirmed that his son and Zendaya are, in fact, engaged. It comes after months of speculation, which really went into overdrive after she stepped out at the Golden Globes wearing a diamond ring. Dominic says that Tom was quite the planner, asking for her father’s permission before popping the question.
Dominic wrote on his Patreon that “Tom had everything planned when, where, how, even what to wear. He was very prepared.” He said Tom wasn’t leaving anything to chance, going very particular with the ring’s size, clarity, and design.
The couple, both 28 years old, had met on the sets of keys Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and publicly acknowledged their romance in 2021. Since then, their romance has turned into fairy tales for fans across the world.
Dominic revealed he was “apprehensive” about the pressures of fame on their relationship but was confident in the love they shared. “Show business is tough for couples, but they handle everything with class. I think they’ll make a great union,” he wrote.
