The wave of violent chaos and disorder across several parts of the United Kingdom, UK have persisted on Tuesday.
It was gathered from BBC news reports on Monday night that police officers calming the situation had been viciously attacked in Belfast, Darlington and Plymouth when the protesters spotted on them.
The reports had also revealed that not less than six people were arrested in Plymouth, with several police officers sustaining minor injuries in the violence.
The protesters in South Belfast had hurled stones and petrol bombs at the riot officers dispatched to control the situation in an area close to a supermarket, which had already been set on fire during the weekend.
Previously, a vigil was held for the victims of a mass stabbing in Southport last week, which gave rise to the current unrest.
So far, about 400 people have been arrested by security operatives since the rioting began.
