New investigations on the deceased gunman who attempted to assassinate former U.S President, Donald Trump, Thomas Mathew Crooks, has revealed that he had explosive materials in his home residence and car.
The United States security source(s) who spoke with Fox News had further revealed how Crooks’ car parked near the Pennsylvania rally had bomb making materials inside. Law enforcement officers had also found bomb-making materials in Crooks’s house.
However, the sources could not immediately disclose how many explosives or what kind at press time, but they had said that more than one was found.
The 20-year-old man had attempted to assassinate Trump during his campaign in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, July 13.
Crooks had fired several shots at the former President but had only managed to hit Trump by his ears. In reaction the secret service responded immediately by killing him.
The 20-year-old had reportedly used an AR-style weapon.

“There were explosives, including an IED, found inside a car driven by Thomas Matthew Crooks found parked near the scene of the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.”
