The Managing Director of Fouani Company, a representative of Local Government and Hisense, Mohamed Fouani, and two Lebanese nationals others, who were recently abducted by yet-to-be identified men in Lagos State, have been liberated.
The Fouani MD, Mohammed, the two Lebanese, a boat captain and his assistant were abducted by gunmen on Friday on their way from Apapa to Victoria Island via boat.
The five victims were liberated on Monday night in Orugbo, Iddo area of Lagos by the Lagos State Marine Police with the aid of the Nigerian Navy.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer, had confirmed the release to news men on Tuesday.
Hundeyin had also revealed that Marine Police together with the support of Nigerian Navy had rescued the victims and brought them to shore.

“They were rescued late last night in Orugbo Iddo. Our Marine Police, with the support of the Nigerian Navy, brought them to shore.
Thereafter, our tactical team in the area took them home on Banana Island in the early hours of today.”
