The game started on a good note for Argentina, as they led the match after Messi scored the first goal from the Penalty spot.
Argentina came prepared as they pressed hard on Croatia, Argentina doubled their lead all thanks to Alvarez, who scored the second goal. Alvarez again took the game beyond the reach of Croatia as he scored the third goal for Argentina.
Unfortunately for Croatia, even Luka Modric could not save Croatia from crashing out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Argentina has officially made it to the finals, they are to await whoever wins between France and Morocco’s match.
