An online news platform leaked an alleged conversation that Bishop Oyedepo the Founding Pastor of Winners Chapel had with the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi. In the leaked Audio, Peter Obi was heard telling Bishop Oyedepo to help him canvass for votes in the south West.
Reacting to this report, Bishop Oyedepo immediately debunked such reports, stating that he has never been told by anyone to say anything, Neither has he campaigned for any politician, and he will not do that till he goes to heaven, as many political parties have constantly visited him for prayers, he usually advises some.
“Nobody had ever told me what to say in this world. No. I have never campaigned for anybody or spoken on anybody’s behalf and I will not do that till I go to heaven. “There is no (political) party in this country that didn’t come to me for prayers and advice. I advised them, some, they didn’t take.”
