Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, Bobrisky, has reportedly been arrested in an attempt to flee the country. Social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), in a surprising Facebook post, claimed that Bobrisky was apprehended by the police at the Seme border on Monday while attempting to cross into the Benin Republic.
According to VDM, the arrest came amidst ongoing investigations by the House of Representatives into a series of explosive claims involving Bobrisky. The social media star had earlier been in the crosshairs of the public following the leaking of an audio recording where Bobrisky was heard bragging that he had bribed EFCC officials a sum of N15 million to wriggle out of his six months imprisonment on the basis of influence from his godfather.
Called to appear before an investigative hearing, Bobrisky failed to appear, claiming he was sick. But with his arrest at the border recently, comes another story of a last-ditch effort to evade the law.
