Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has showered praise on Muslims observing the Ramadan fast, admitting that she lacks the physical and mental strength to endure the rigorous spiritual exercise.

In an Instagram Live video shared on Friday by CultureMillennials, the American star revealed that she begins to feel unwell if she stays without food for more than three hours after waking up.

She joked, “To my Muslims out there doing Ramadan fasting, God knew not to make me a Muslim. If I wake up and go three hours without eating, my head starts to hurt, and I’ll start hearing voices.”

The mother of four further explained that hunger quickly affects her mood, adding, “I don’t have the strength to be a Muslim. When I wake up, I have like a three-hour limit; if I don’t eat in three hours after I wake up, I start to hear shit. I start cursing people out.”

Despite her lighthearted admission, Cardi B expressed deep respect for Muslims and their commitment to their faith.

“They love their God so much. I love when people are loyal to their creator,” she said.

It would be recalled that in December, the rapper went viral in Saudi Arabia during her performance at Riyadh’s MDLBEAST Soundstorm festival, where she greeted fans with the traditional Islamic salutation “Salam alaikum” and later described the atmosphere as “everything is mashallah.”
