The famous music duo the chainsmokers have announced in a blog column that they would be giving out 1% of the royalties from their new record to 5000 fans this makes the chainsmokers the first artist to ration their royalties for free. According to the chainsmokers, the tokens will include among other perks, a right to an equal collective of an audio streaming royalty from all 13 songs on our finished album.

The holder of this token is allowed to join a private discord sub-channel with access to exclusive content information and also have direct access to them. They also have giveaways planned for their fans and the first giveaway is going to be a VIP ticket and a meet and greet to an upcoming headline show.
Holders of these tokens are free to sell or transfer to anyone and they would not be taking a percentage for secondary sales but would rather distribute it to songwriters. The album is to be released on Friday 13th of May 2022 and the token giveaway would be on Tuesday 1ath of May 2022
