Seven children were injured as the school bus conveying them somersaulted in Lagos on Thursday. What could have caused the bus to have somersaulted is still unknown.
They were immediately rushed to Topaz hospital, where the doctors and nurses on duty quickly attended to the children. According to the doctor on duty, Dr. Sanusi Olatunbosun no lives were lost, although three of the children sustained serious injuries, while the rest four has some minor injuries.
“They are all conscious and discharged in good condition,” he said.
The driver of the school bus was not found, obviously, he ran away to prevent the wrath of people on him, the bus has been pushed from the road to ensure the free flow of vehicles.
