Manchester United are still celebrating their last-minute 3–2 victory over Arsenal, but hero Matheus Cunha might still be in trouble with the FA following his post-goal celebrations at the Emirates.
Cunha struck a beautiful long-range goal to give the Red Devils a win after Mikel Merino’s equaliser, which gave Michael Carrick, for the second time as United’s new head coach, a winning debut of a statement nature. The result was a blow to the Premier League leaders and has ended their home unbeaten run for the last nine months.
But a dispute has broken out over what happened there when the Brazilian player scored a goal. After scoring, Cunha enjoyed the moment with the away United fans, doing a wave dance and then swearing into the camera near him. The language used was broadcast live from Sky Sports, which caused the commentator to apologize on air immediately.

The FA Code of Conduct states that offensive or abusive language is punished, and if the official misses the incident, the person(s) concerned can receive retrospective punishments. The famous example occurred in 2011 when Rooney, who was then playing for United, was handed a two-match suspension for swearing at a camera after scoring.
Currently, the FA has not disclosed whether Cunha is going to be punished. On the Internet, the striker seemed to make light of the issue when he later uploaded a version with the phrase censored. Even if he is punished, Cunha’s strike has put United into the top four.
