DDG Sets the Record Straight on Breakup with Halle Bailey

Days after announcing his split from Halle Bailey, rapper DDG spoke out about the backlash and the many rumors circulating around their split. Making an appearance on the No Ordinary podcast, DDG made sure to let everyone know that the breakup was just life, adding there’s no bad blood between him and the actress. He reiterated that Halle is still family and that he still has a deep love for her, but ultimately they decided to take a break.

While the internet moved with speculations, DDG spoke up in frustration against the running case on their breakup, assuring them there was no wrong going on from either side to urge people to stop creating fake stories. He has since said that their separation is a temporary pause, and nobody can know what the future holds for them.

He also had a strong message for all those peeping into their private life. He asked people to give respect to the statement they’ve given and not jump to conclusions. “Take the statement and mind your business,” he said, reminding fans that public figures only publicize what they want to and the rest should remain private.

While they have indeed broken up, DDG sounds certain that things remain all good with him and Halle, thus leaving the door open for possibilities while shutting down unnecessary drama from the outside world.
